Recovery support

Gentle Recovery Support for Athletes, Active Bodies, and Post-Concussion Care

CST can support nervous system regulation, body awareness, tension patterns, rest, and recovery as part of a broader care plan.

Athlete receiving gentle CranioSacral recovery support

Whether you compete, train regularly, or simply ask a lot of your body, stress and tension can build quietly. After concussion or head injury, many people seek gentle support alongside medical care, physical therapy, chiropractic, massage, or athletic training.

Who this may support

  • Athletes and active adults
  • Clients navigating post-concussion symptoms or recovery
  • Anyone noticing tension patterns, stress on the nervous system, or difficulty settling after injury

What sessions focus on

Sessions are gentle, fully clothed, and client-led. Janelle uses light touch to listen to the body and follow what your system is ready for. Many clients report feeling calmer, more settled, or more connected to their body — though each session is unique.

CranioSacral Therapy does not treat concussion directly, guarantee faster recovery, reduce inflammation, or promise performance improvement. It can offer supportive bodywork as one part of your overall care plan which has been shown to be beneficial in overall recovery.

Working with your care team

Janelle is happy to collaborate with your medical providers, PT, chiropractor, massage therapist, or athletic trainer when that supports your goals. Continue working with your medical team for diagnosis and treatment of concussion or injury.

What folks are saying

  • ★★★★★

My daughter plays comp soccer and doesn't have a lot of rest days. We always notice a HUGE difference in her performance after a session with Janelle. Her kick is more powerful and she is able to move so much better. She plays more confidently and focused. Definitely recommend if you have a child that is very active or playing sports!

Not sure which session length to book?

Post-concussion and athlete support clients usually start with a 55-minute or 85-minute session. You can also send a brief question first.
